School Talk

Radio Visit to Talk About a State Law That Has Led to Cancelling of Already Approved School Trips (And Seems to Call School Supply Lists Into Question Too!)

If you haven’t already read my blog post about why field trips and overnight school trips are on the chopping block where I live, you can check it out here. Thanks to Matt Allen on WPRO, I had the opportunity today to talk more about the issue and its implications for all school districts across the state. Matt and I agree often, and disagree often, but we always enjoy a respectful and honest conversation.

It’s worth noting for anyone interested that Matt Allen recently lost over 140 pounds—he is extremely open about how he did it and about the many ways it has changed his life. If you are interested in learning more, he did a podcast episode all about it that you can access here.

What do you think?
