6/ Last December, President Trump even signed a bipartisan crime reform bill that required prisons to screen and treat dyslexia to reduce recidivism. So now prisons will be required to screen and treat dyslexia while schools don’t.

7/ It’s kind of crazy to think that some children won’t be identified and receive treatment unless they end up behind bars. The Ready to Read Act signed by Governor Hogan last Monday, which is meant to identify students at risk of reading disorders, never uses the word dyslexia.
